Review

A man named Johnny Blaze came onto Mother Egg with some disturbing news: The Eggheads had a demon on board. Seeing no alternative and against Eileen's better judgement, Josh allowed Blaze's alias, the Ghost Rider, run loose and try to capture the escaped soul known as Madness. But Madness had a mission. He found Acacia, who revealed him to be her old partner by the name of Terry, and gave her a mysterious riddle: Seek the heart in the everlasting dominion. To protect Acacia and save E.G.G, Terry willingly went back to Mephisto's Realm with Ghost Rider. But while working the riddle, Acacia came upon a scary discovery: It all has something to do with S.H.I.E.L.D.

No questions, but...

Okay, so I got no questions or comments on Episode 10 this week (surprise, surprise). But... I did get two new followers! Hooray! Thank you Alli Rose and PhoenixV (I see what you did there, AvX and what not, yeah, I got you!) for adding to my fanbase! Remember guys, follow me to keep up on the latest and greatest from E.G.G, and you'll never miss an episode!

Ghost Rider!

Eileen entered the room.

“Hey Josh,” she said. “I was looking through some archives and…” She saw Johnny, stopped, and dropped her papers. “What is he doing here?”

“You know him?” Josh asked.

“Josh, that is Johnny Blaze, get him off of this ship right now!”

“Eileen, slow down. What’s the problem?”

“He’s a demon, that’s the problem!”

“Uh, half demon.” Johnny interjected.

“What is she talking about?” Josh asked.

“Well you see, I’m the only one who can walk in both worlds.” He said. “I’m the Ghost Rider.”

* * *

If you watched the Season 1 trailer, you knew this was coming. Yes, the Spirit of Vengeance himself graced E.G.G with his demonic presence! I always liked the concept of Ghost Rider, and I figured he'd be a great guest appearance in E.G.G! But how? Well, Ghost Rider immediately denotes demons, so I figured, in a horror-esque sort of feel, why not have a demon invade Mother Egg! Now I could have just done that and had an epic demon throw down, but this is E.G.G, you know it goes deeper than that!

Eileen's afraid of demons

Meanwhile, Josh had reached Eileen’s room. He rushed in, slammed the door, and locked it. He looked to see Eileen curled in the corner.

“Come on Eileen,” He said, barricading the door. “You’ve got to pull it together.”

“I hate demons Josh.” She said.

“Yet you weren’t afraid of Nightcrawler!”

“He’s not a demon!”

“Sure looked like one to me.” Josh slid one more piece of furniture in front of the door and stopped. “That should do it.” Suddenly Ghost Rider crashed through the wall and slammed into Eileen’s bed, shattering it. Eileen screamed to the top of her lungs. Ghost Rider stood up, and looked directly at Eileen. He pointed to her.

“You.” He growled. Eileen’s eyes widened in fear and horror. “Innocent.” Ghost Rider stepped back through the hole in the wall, dragging his chain with him. Eileen’s eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she fainted.

* * *

It looks like Eileen's not a happy camper. Yep, well, she isn't. Eileen is actually a religious person (if you haven't caught the subtle hints inferring so), so she's not gonna be too fond of demons and devils and Ghost Rider's running around loose on what she has donned as her home.

Acacia's old partner?

Suddenly her door burst down. Acacia screamed and jumped back. Madness crept into her room. Acacia shook her stick.

“Hey-a-hey-a-hey-a!” She chanted. Madness knocked the stick to ground. “I knew that street merchant ripped me off!” She shouted. Madness roared triumphantly and Acacia backed into the corner. “What do you want from me?” She asked.

“I just wanted to see you again,” Madness replied. “Partner.” Acacia stopped. She took a closer look. Tears came to her eyes. She reached out touched Madness’s cheek.

“Terry?” Suddenly Ghost Rider’s chain wrapped around him and he was yanked away from Acacia. Ghost Rider dragged him across the floor.

* * *

Before E.G.G, Josh, Eileen, and Acacia were all agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Acacia's partner was a man named Terry. And that's all you get to know about him. But stick around, you'll figure out more about Terry soon enough, and how exactly he became the demon known as Madness!

The Everlasting Dominion

“Terry, what happened to you?” She said. Madness shook his head.

“I did terrible things Acacia,” he replied. “Things I never wanted you to know about. But I had to warn you. A great danger approaches, and I feel you will not be able to stop it.” He looked over to Ghost Rider, who smacked Josh halfway across the room. “If I want to end this I have to go willingly. But heed my warning Acacia, danger is nearing.”

“Terry, what are you talking about?” She asked.

“Seek the heart in the everlasting dominion. That is where the answers lie. I must go now.” He looked to Acacia. “Could you, tell Fumiko…”

“I will.” Acacia said, knowing what he was going to ask. He nodded, then stood up.

* * *

Well, that's about as cryptic as you can get in terms of riddles. What does this mean? And who is Fumiko? Clearly someone that was important to Terry while he was alive. I know this episode left a lot of questions, but we do get a small clue in terms of this 'Everlasting Dominion' to which Terry is referring...

S.H.I.E.L.D

Acacia sat on her bed with a piece of paper, examining it. Suddenly Eileen came in. Acacia quickly covered the paper.

“Hey, what’s up Eileen?” She asked.

“Josh made pancakes for breakfast!” She exclaimed. Then she looked at her. “You okay?”

“Yeah, I’ll be out in a minute.” Eileen nodded and left. Acacia uncovered the paper with Terry’s warning written on it. Seek the heart in the everlasting dominion. She squinted. Then she stopped.

“No.” She whispered. For she had noticed something she had not before.

Seek the heart in the everlasting dominion.

Seek heart in everlasting dominion.

Seek Heart In EverLasting Dominion.

S.H.I.E.L.D.

* * *

See! I don't completely leave you in the dark! But what does this mean? Is S.H.I.E.L.D evil? Are they hiding something? Have they been overrun by Hydra? Well, that last one's already been done, but one thing is clear: This is where Acacia needs to start looking if she wants to find answers, and avoid the impending peril that Terry warned her of!
